Zsófia Marx's first encounter with felt was at the age of sixteen in her native country Hungary. Her fascination has driven her to embark on a journey. She has traveled in countries where felt is traditionally crafted and used, learned from traditional masters, contemporary artists and designers, who helped and inspired her to find her own voice through this 8000 years old material.
